Lee Alexander McQueen born on 16th March 1969 in Lewisham, in a middle-class family with dad as a taxi driver and mum as a social science teacher, and McQueen was the youngest of their six kids. He grew up, just like a lot of us in a council house in Stratford, and started making dresses for his 3 sisters at young age and also destined to become a fashion designer.

McQueen attended Rokeby School and left aged 16 in 1985 with 1 O-Level (GCSE) in Art, and going on to serve an apprenticeship with Savile Row tailors Anderson & Sheppard, befor joining Gieves & Hawkes and, late, the theatrical costumiers Angels and Bermans.

During his attendance on Savile Row, McQueen's clients included Mikhail Gorbachev and Prince Charles; McQueen revealed in an interview that he once sewed "I am a cunt" into the lining of a jacket for Price Charles. (CHEEKY XD -HW)
