Stepping into Day 3 of London Fashion Week, the sun isn't shining as bright as Friday but at the Freemasons Hall held the Vauxhall Fashion Scout let two talented designers shines off their new AW11 Collection, as Masha Ma & Jazz Katze.
Started the day with Masha Ma at 1230.
The show was surprisingly calm and relaxed compare to the other shows that we went to the past few days which was packed like in a tube carriage during peak hours (sardine cans). The word "contrasting" can be described upon any aspects to this collection. The heavy coats and textures mixed with "striking" scarlet red palettes added a very powerful and fearless structured feeling toward the show, while it ends with pieces cut round with more subtle silhouette and pallette such as dusty pink and egg shell.
After the show, only another 45 minutes into Jazz Katze, so the team had a coffee break at the lounge in Somerset House, and I (Harry) made my own way back to see Jazz Katze.
The collection named "The Name of the Rose" which inspired by the novel written by the Italian medievalist Umberto Eco in the early 80's with iconic movements of symbolism and paradoxical relationship of existence.
Featuring pieces like hooded coast and exaggerated dresses, being accompanied by sheer mohair knits or the slashed shoulder dress.
