Instead of renovating its layout, Burberry uses the environment to its advantage, unearthing some of the original facades within building, accompany its brand heritage and image which allows them to bring the brand to life.
The store itself is one self-contained mansion with 25 flights of stairs across 4 floors, and 17 fittings rooms "hidden" round the corner of its wooden facades.
There're some extraordinary numbers to make the store for what it is. 500 speakers along with 160 iPads to make sure the store runs smoothly and provide visitors the best experiences.
More like an emporium than a typical retail extravaganza.
Within its retail team, 29 different languages will be spoken in the store along with 160 individuals will be in store to offer help during peak hours of trading.
Like before, Burberry loves to be ahead of the technology race, launching RFID into various items in store; the largest indoor retail space in its atrium; and custom built signage to help customers navigates round the store.
121 Regent Street is a celebration of Britishness. Its product, its lifestyle, its innovation under one roof.
Worth a visit when you're next in London town.
Images below courtesy of Burberry, but when the WestFASHION team back in London, they will be visiting the store to experience the RFID!!
