27. All thoughts counts

Whoever said H&M is a pile of left-over or ugly... Think Again, coz from what we've seen so far in H&M, there ARE pieces (not just ONE) that worth investing in (if you counts £24.99 is, I do lolz - HW). H&M sent us their new videos featuring some styling tips from bloggers of the now.

While the ladies did an amazing job, the guys... that stylist (shall not be named but stated in video) cant style his friends...
Skinny tweed, not everyone suits it. & ever heard of never ever one colour outfit? ESPECIALLY BROWN!

First, lets refresh your memory of whats coming to your nearest TREND store.

20. PRADA 'Real Fantasies' AW11 Concept Lookbook

HMMM!! Was pretending to be rich the other day and walked into Prada, wanna look if they have any horse horns left from past seasons... They don't of course. (lolz - HW) but just as I walked out, saw a stack of new catalogue-alike booklet. It's free and could just take it away. So I did, but let me warn you... its quite a irregular size, its about A4 x 1.5 ...

Filled with a lot of elements that inspires Prada's show and also the characters... Remember the SS11 show with the road signs and lines on floor?

Something I would hold on to and look back. A book with at least 50 pages of 'story-telling'

Go into a Prada store near you, and pick yourself one. Or click to the selected images below for a better quality and best picks from Mwah-self.

27. Through the LENS

PIERCE ME WITH THOSE EYES. PHWOAR
Topman just released details of their new LENS collaboration with JW.Anderson, New Power Studio, Dusty and few others. Nothing really appeals to me except that colour block jumper which I might have to go try on, but yet again i dont have the model's fucking-fit figure, so i guess it would look BEEP on me, & those harem pants PLEASE, go off-trend :/

24. Topman Autumn Lookbook.

*facepalm* REALLY? from a brand that brought in the "cuff leg" on denim & the arc leg & bringing legging into the mainstream. Now they promote turning their drop-crotch to VERY high-waisted. but if you are a topshit, i mean topman addict, you will recognise straight away, one of the printed jumper which they had late 08 came back.

In trend? *shrugs*

22. Dolce Campagna

Dolce & Gabbana released their new AW11 campaigns for Dolce & Gabbana, D&G (the sub-brand) and the Juniors.

The campaigns clearly with its power-dressing vibes along with the East-London roughness (shows in the D&G, which taken in Aldywch Tube station)

all those blah blah blah, BUT LOOK AT THE LADIES. just PHWOAR!!

Although the campaign looks proper rough and tough, but there're always one that looks just touchy feeling with two dudes or two chicks (refer to previous campaigns with gay couples kissing [LOVES - HW])

11. Prepare for the cold snap.

If you been in LDN or even anywhere on the northern hemisphere, you will notice that the weather have been changing drastically for the past two months or so. In fashion, as we always have to work about 2 months or so ahead of the current season, we would be talking about high summer about now, but Burberry took the step further and launched their AW11 campaigns few days ago. Alongside also their Pre-SS12 collection, which I (Harry) will post when Mens SS12 starts in about... eerrmm, actually Monday. 13th June. Paris.

Back to business. The campaigns features the most striking ones within the collection which they shown back in February. Alongwith shades of camel honey, mustard, this campaigns we can see the shades of red - from raspberry to primary red. One of the most striking one out of the whole campaigns would be the one with the shiny black suit (not available in images, see the video attached)
The Red Cape is HOT!!! reminds me of my beloved black cape which I had 2 years ago to London Fashion Week. Wooopp!!!
On the side of all those, Bootcut leg for ladies (I have a strong sense of feeling for those cuts - HW), and for the men... its all about tailoring (once again) but this time with various pattern, look closely, those 4 are all done up with different ways.

Here are the "Harry"'s pick from the campaigns and also the video which followed:-
(btw © Copyright Burberry/Testino w- So no copying, no transferring, no "oh hai, lets nap this!"... maybe the styling, I would love the suit + the camel coat!!)

18. Kitsuné Battle

While Kitsuné x Ponystep album was a hit along with Mrs. Murphy's song "Momma's Place", this time Kitsuné Maison 'filed' another new theme album called "Indie-Dance Issue" which will be release on May 16th 2011.
Along with the new album, also the new preview of the AW11 Kitsuné collection.
Taken ideas from the "Unisexy" video of American Apparel promoting their unisex styling with a couple, the video featuring two models battling against eachother as they dress and undress the collection's key looks. & HES FIT P: (just saying - HW)

23. LFW Day 6 - JW Anderson / Topman Design

While London Fashion Week for womenswear have drawn its curtain and the spotlight went to Milan, London Fashion Week for Menswear have just started, and One Day Only.

The day started with 9am JW Anderson.
Risk-taking is the word to describe the collection, as it seems, also stated in press release, that few looks are crossing the gender boundary, yet very masculine (which's remind me of the styling of Ash few season ago with long hair & pleats kilts.)
Almost every piece were a hit but except one - Patent Trousers.
Other than that, the navy peacoat with fur hood trim, high waist tailored trousers, and different panelling on garments. Re-use of traditional prints into various colours were a brave move as well. Impressive collection.
BUY for definite.

Straight after JW Anderson, 1015 Topman Design located at Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.

The 1950's silhouette seems like one of the inspiration to the collection, especially with its prints and pick of colour tones.
All looks started with a turtle neck light-knit jumper, and layered up.
Boat Neck cut on jumpers, which was a carry-on from this year (as in AW10-11)
Out of the looks, there were 2/3 that looked bit out of place as it involves high-waisted denim and baseball jackets, which surely based round the 50's subculture rock n roll scene. while all the other looks are various suiting cuts and variation of fabrics.
I do have to confess that the red mac coat at the end, does look similar to Burberry Prorsum back in 2007.
Very commercial too. So definitely can see them selling them in Topman in 6-8 months time.

COMING UP: Sibling + Mr. Start & a new brand focus feature.
