29. DKNY AW10 Preview
Franciso Lachowski photographed by Shannon Sinclair in a selection of DKNY's coming collection. Seems like DNKYs back to its blue-loving and simple, classic cutting with the extra bits. like the black shirt with blue collar and trimming. Also to highlight the boots with a azure-faded socks also the rain-cape.

16. H&M FW10
Headlining Vincent Lacrocq for H&M Fall Winter 2010 Lookbook. (Who said cape isn't for men!! - HW) This collection featuring classic cut trench, [!]cape (copied from Burberry AW09) , and chunk knit (just like every season), with few bit of black/grey and playing round with shades. (To me, it just a carry forward from their AW09 or just their team a year behind or something. Also from my visit, you can get few pieces from the shop already. - HW)

OH WELL, cheapie cheapie. init!!

08. Alexander McQueen AW10-11
... 'comes to our last part of the 8-parts series about Alexander McQueen.

Here's the fitting of the fashion show "that suppose to happen but never did".
Alexander McQueen AW10-11.
From what it looks, it should another record-making show, also looks like taking inspiration from the Victorian age mixing with the Golden Age and patterns from Egypt, but also few pieces looks taking inspiration from Greece.
Feeling like going back in time.
I dunno why but somehow I can see sadness in this collection... Just me?
10. Christopher Shannon & James Long
I just have to say now the security guard before this show was such a nice guy, anywho on with the show. Christopher Shannon was a big anticlimax, the fleece was horribly presented, I personally am not a fan of fleece and to see it in such a distortion was not up to my par, of course there were a few certain pieces which were fantastic and would have been on my back, just the fleece didn't do it for me. The sheer tops and glitter bags were stunning and I was definitely a fan of those. James Long was the one, the combination of stain print and soft cord jeans was exciting and using textures to express masculinity with a unique approach is what I appreciate in menswear. I was enjoying the James Long and his expression of the season was clear. Divine outerwear also.
09. This is well deserved
Okay, when it comes to fashion, I like to see in colour, each piece unique. Ziad Ghanem, Monday 22nd February 19:45pm was an exact moment when Fashion stood for itself in my mind, it confirmed all that I am interested in and all I believed. I hold strong desire and hope into this man for his creation. OnOff, fantastic location in itself as I've said, no designated seats which was a treat. Front row at this guy's show I'd never heard of, sad to say. This dramatic light drop and music switch up the place, it was hot and it was the evening, people were restless. Let's just say now the invite itself was gorgeous, but that's irrelevant.
Out comes number one, a girl with tattoos and a shaved head, so chic, so fresh and such a treat to see. The garment sapphire blue, waved and nipped at the waist, a fantastic shape and great sequined makeup. Number 2 brought a male wearing a pleated "Chanel style" neck piece, with a policeman's hat teamed with a circular spiral object, with a centre cross, once the model had passed it came to realize it was a cape he was wearing. Just to let you know capes are my one and truly. Interesting piece. 3, a cropped redhead baring alot of skin was displaying the back of the garment, with a draping cape style back with ruffles around the lower waist. I was being tortured with this beauty, 3 consecutive pieces which were of outstanding interest and quality. Batwoman arrived with her wings, this dress was absolutely immense. The hidden fabric under a chiffon thick layer of black satin. The waist down was a lace skirt which looked rather conforming, from the waist up there was this art instillation and master craftsmanship. Lace wings followed, a bodysuit with a lace 'wing ' style back were embellished with cage and flowers. Like a trellis only chic. Yes every piece is going to be talked about and this one is no exception, ebonic colors were the trend at the moment with a shot of blue, but black was playing to his advantage with a black model wearing a black chiffon dress with layers of draping satin drew attention to the true beauty of gradient, the sheer material toward the breast with a dark resemblance at the foot with a train.
Again out came black this time even better than the last, a silk draping veil style dress jeweled with gold and beads, a gorgeous ensemble which stood the test of his full potential and more.
Narnia lookalike walked down the catwalk in a LBD with a twist, the train was horizontal with a 60's style vintage floral pattern embellished with sequins.
Ugly Betty chic was next, a girl with patterns textures and rolled/pinned hair was in her brogues, cute and chic, very different from everything that was made. Her and I also worked our leopard scarves.
Male no.2 with the coolest hair and the fabulousosness of his vintage floral high waisted trousers, a look that would have turned the eyes of mod londoners desiring for a chance to wear this rockabilly style.
The next two guys took a turn for colour with Ziad and showed an expression through pattern and colour, the bright flouro colors were eye catching and the cut's of the male clothing was attention grabbing.
Blue floral suit, so simple so chic effortless and I was noticing a pattern with models, they seemed to be what alot of people would interpret as "REAL."
Bald tattoo model came back this time in a painfully waist cinching body suit with an oceanic print, some sort of resemblance to a Japanese painting.
Bridal chic followed with lace skirts and black headdress' and then accompanied by the realest grown woman. Round of applause was instantaneous and she was so chic, so "Camden," we all fell in love with her, what she was wearing was a gothic style oceanic print dress to compliment previous patterns, in a gradient blue green tone.
The circle policeman hat ensemble was back with a cape! A CAPE, an oceanic print again with a zip front and drape back lined with satin/silk blend and gorgeous tones of white/blue/green and purple gradient.
Rolled, pinned and spun hair was next, with a tribal/modern chic neck-brace, gradient blue oceanic fishtail dress with leather arm gloves, I'd be wearing this to a funeral so to say, it's solemn with a gesture of Parisian chic.
My Latina mama came out full of attitude ( the good stuff ) and earned herself a round of applause with her fierce strut and fabulous body suit with breast embellishment. Sequined black dress with reverse shoulder pieces falling down the back worn by our cropped redhead.
White Cape? Yes, bow's it was amazing this huge afro teamed this white cape omgosh! Then a white silk coat wow the colour gradient was consistent and following through his pieces. Again wedding chic with a fishtail dress and an AMAZING back detail with layers, ruffles and gathering, so mouthwatering.
Agyness Deyn lookalike teamed a shorter version with circular applique.
Mrs. Dangerous with her sexy eyes and ember hair wore a revealing but beautiful iridescent lace veil headdress with a lengthy lace dress, the lace was minimal so it looked like flowers were adorning her figure.
Then WOW, instant applaud, male model balancing a model on his shoulders with this crazy amount of gorgeous chiffon, breathtaking, one of those moments of climatic eventual happenings, just simply amazing. I lack words to describe the euphoria of this art.
Last of all, gorgeous busty blonde with tumbling waves in a scarlet red dress, a beautiful woman with beautiful garments on her body, stride by stride showed how fantastic the creating was, the waves at the back of the dress, gorgeous. The material gorgeous (it swept past my feet!), came to pose in front of the camera with a glorious stance. In an instant the Red Dress was OFF, it was such drama, the quality of performance, top. This green beautiful embellished fishtail with an iridescent brown, just literally was (I try not to swear) Amazing. The string was out and out came layer 3. My team and I were speechless, the gist of this show and worthy of my time. The white bustier with nipple covers and wedding style dress just finished in such a high and stood for a unique approach to fashion. If I ever was to design I'd take a leaf from this guys book. I just cant express the true passion I felt towards his work, I even had the opportunity to thank him for visually pleasing me and just was in such a fantastic jubilation.

08. Orange Is Good
Orient and breathtaking, this show was of upmost quality and far from dull. The applique of feathers and sequins just took everything assumption you gather at first with simple classically cut pieces. Im a magpie, so anything that sparkles really did catch me. High octane 1970's Glam at its finest. Everything sat perfectly, cut properly the craftsman ship with euphoric and the experimentation on proportions was pleasing to the eye, something different. The glittering gold backless dress' almost gorgeous ad a robe, just imagine, then bright neon feathered shoes adorned the catwalk followed by an amazing combination of the two, I was in awe. People around me probably hated on me because of my constant talking, just pure amazement.
The angular plumes and gilded gold dresses were accompanied by Geisha style face makeup and secondary a sun-burnt, dark foundation look, which kinda worked? I dont know but whatever it was it was fabulous, so to say so was the free Ferrero Roche, but the show was the moment for me. Beverly Knight thought so too <3
Who was it... Bernard Chandran.
07. Plethora of Pieces
Rihanna, Jameela Jamil and Alesha Dixon have sported his stuff, but what did Bryce Aime bring to the table to season. A packed out room with restricted view's and a plethora of pieces. Metallic fabrics, gorgeous cuts and shapes. The striking piece with the collection was the cube bodysuit, as some would say 'very Gaga.' Although a minority of the collection was based upon a concept the majority was commercial. I appreciated he used autumnal colors but I find that using the same fabric in a different cut becomes tedious when you have turned out so many pieces.
I was nearly fully impressed, once the body suit arrived the rest was forgotten for me, but not a designer to forget!

06. Flew Off
Jena Theo took all I love about layering and drapes and turned it into fabulous chic chiffon. The models with rolled pinned hair and groomed appearances complimented 1950's glam, with structured blazers, high waisted trousers and big chunky knits. The volume and drape's is what was so interesting about this show, from my perspective of sitting on the floor to see this show, was just gentle and fluid. The soft appearance of these knits were accompanied by gold buttons and showing blocks of colour in neutral tones.
Jena Theo won Fashion Fringe 2009, so she really stood to her standards and flew off with her cape.

Witchery Fall 2010 Mathias Lauridsen
Inspired by "modern love", the leading danish model Mathias Lauridsen sure matched what the label would like to represent for the collection. No matter in a pair of jeans, dress casual, or up, still shows its sophistication, in several definitions.

05. Delicate Guild
With a victorian gothica chic, Danny Tang presented a show with intense pieces. The luxurious fabric with chiffon showed no sign of nerves building up to this collection. Sophistication alongside floral motifs which weaved around the contours of the face.
The delicate gems placed on blood red, midnight black and gilded gold really shone and took centre stage at this show, a slow mystical fashion was adopted by the models to create flow and movement in the garment, with professional seam work and crafted in the hands of a perfectionist.

04. Tangible Expectations
It's funny how celebrity rapport can increase your viewing audience DRAMATICALLY! The venue Freemasons was followed by me strutting about in my heels, which were not kind to me but that's the least to say. The show had alot of techo 'add-ons' and had a strong contrast to last seasons bright colors, showing true versatility and living up to the tangible expectation's. The spiked edges and zig zag textured peices added a sombre interest to very simple chic garments. I am sure to say that there will be many more celeb's wearing this collection, wether he get's a negative feedback following Cheryl Cole's mishap is yet to come? View the show HERE
03. Gentle Facet
Indian headdress' meet soft silk drapes with Julien Macdonald style embellishments. Did it work? Will it ever? For me it was evoking intimacy with strong contrasting lines teamed with soft feminine layering. Once the woolen loop knit dress showed itself down the runway it was then the collection boasted fluidity and a coherent message.
The designers combined had successfully created this essence of a gentle facet, adopting a different unique approach to the technique.
The first of many shows to feature alot of wool and knitwear, the A/W 10/11 seemed to hold this message consistently, you'll see.Get the transparent hair look

02. Now's the time...
Charlie le Mindu set off my fashion week, with a massive weave fest shown at the new venue OnOff, which was a gorgeous building, dark sexy and so apt. The show consisted of weave and ebonic beauty. A coterie of couture fans are now swarming Le Mindu for his work and fantastic headpieces, going somewhere a designer.
The show had this religious monk air, with rhinestone crosses combined with skimpy lace catsuits, definitely worked. The lady of Le Mindu's collection is a gothic chic french lady whose going to steal your husband with her faberge egg headpiece. Now let me meet her!

You know, the first thing when I saw this, I was like "I miss you so much, Mr. McQueen :'( "
YEAH!!!!! MCQUEEN SS10!!!!! WTF! NOT GOOD! but overall, the collection was better than last season they did, since the use of prints are always the way forward ;)
